THE ROOMS

Beyond Audio has a suitable live room, and an oversized 6×7 foot iso booth.
Both rooms contain floating walls and a floating ceiling. They are treated with absorption, diffusion, and bass traps from ProSoCoustic.
Our spacious control room also features treatment from ProSoCoustic. A video screen and cameras tie the control room and live room together, providing visual communication similar to a pain of studio glass. All electric power in the studio operates on an isolated ground source.

THE CONSOLE

Our console is configured as a line level mixer in our workflow. We do not use its internal microphone preamplifiers. We utilize its layout for analog grouping and summing in both the channel and monitor paths, sending to artist monitor mixes while tracking, taking advantage of auxiliary sends to monitor and/or print effects live while tracking or to route them into the mix later, and to utilize the channel strip EQs for analog boosts on elements in the mix. Our final mixes or stems are summed through the console and printed back to the DAW.
